Tutorial is on page 2!  It's not the greatest, but gives you an idea!

I made this gal for a friend's baby.  I also made her a diaper bag, but it was old school tattoo fabric, so I thought I should make something a little less edgy!  So here is Patchy the Turtle!  I didn't use a pattern and just adjusted things as I went along.  When she was done I though she looked a little plain so on went the hexagon patches!  She's about the size of a dinner plate!  My son is in LOVE with her, so looks like I'll be making a boy turtle soon!

thanks! i stretched it out over a couple days.  I don't think it took that long, maybe a few hours ..... once I worked out the kinks.

thanks! I have a book with a fabric turtle in it and didn't have any material that suited the pattern, so i decided to crochet it!  i think the book is called "toys to sew".
