I finally bit the bullet and crocheted an afghan. Mostly because my boyfriend's apartment is so cold I might have gotten frostbite if I didn't

Here it is, just in time for spring!

It was inspired by another post on Craftster a couple months ago. I can't find it now. It was the same pattern in two purples. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Close up!

The purple post had instructions, but I can't find them. So, I re-wrote what I did: http://needyl.com/crochet/wave-afghan-pattern

Eh? Eh?

It's very attractive, pretty but not too unmanly...  Smiley

That is beautiful.  I've wanted to do the same pattern but I can't get it to work out.  For some reason the pattern comes up wrong on the end for me.

I've also had that problem.  I tried writing it down but the graph is so much better.

Why does "you have 0 unread personal messages" always make me just a little sad?

That's it! I thought I'd bookmarked it too, but I couldn't find it.

I used Canon's Simply Soft... it's super cheap, but still very soft. I double stranded it too.
