Hello everyone! Smiley

I made this bag a few days ago and I'm so in love with it, I just had to show it. Wink

It's a koi, similar in design to the "Fancy Fish Handbag" by Ghee's, but I made the pattern for my fish myself.

I started by quilting the polka-dot fabric to look a bit like scales. The finns (Is that the right word? English is not my native language Wink) are quilted, too.
Then i made the "frame" for his mouth from heavy wire (sorry, no picture of the construction). It keeps shut with elastic loops and buttons/beads (his eyes/nostrils Grin). And a lot of hand-sewing, seam-ripping and re-sewing later...

.. he looks like he's smiling Smiley
