Thanks everyone!

I really like those.  I love keys and different vintage things like that.  Thats a really cool idea..can I borrow it?

Absolutely!

And the funny thing is, I always read your name as "keeperbox" -- I know that's not right, but it's what my mind wants to read each time I see it. Cheesy

Trust me, that's not the oddest thing people have read my name as!  I'm not going to even get into what other have thought the meaning of it was! Wink

I really want to get some skeleton keys to wear as a neckelace, but I have no idea where to look in my sad city

that is so neat!
the boxes are perfect because they are so simple they allow the antiques to get all of the attention.
you've totally inspired me here  Smiley

I especially like the size. I need some smaller repeat things in a couple of spaces so you have inspired me. Thank you for that and your beautiful work.

Do you have any antique stores?  I don't think I've ever been in one that doesn't have skeleton keys.  If you're having trouble finding them on the shelves when you're there, look up.  I've often found them on rings hanging from nails in the beams in stores with lower ceilings, and they're not always obvious.

Those are amazing. I love skeleton keys and watches and crazy glasses, and they look smashing together.

these are beautiful! i love the glasses, i should totally do this with mine, since i've yet to get my butt in gear and get my prescription put into any of them!

how do you attach the pieces within the shadowbox? i've thought about shadowboxes before, but i'm scared to permanently attach anything!

Just with hot glue... It's permanent enough that I don't have to worry about always reattaching things, but if I messed up the placement I could pull it off with little probems, since everything I displayed is metal or plastic. I did decide to switch the placement of some of the keys in the "Keys Only" one about a week after I put them up, and you can't even tell.
