I have a couple of items that I am at a loss what to do with.

The first one is this set of miniature carebear playing cards. It's a full deck. I'm not sure what their size is, but I put my cell phone next to them for a size reference.

I know I could decoupage them and make collages or possibly jewelry (I'd have to buy all the hardware though), but I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas for something to do with them. It could be with one, some or all.

My other question is concerning this little juice jar. It is 10 oz. and previously held apple juice. It's really cute. The glass has "Martinelli's Gold Medal 100% Apple Juice- Drink Your Apple A Day" written on it, and little leaves around the top. My friend and I loved it so much that we both bought about four. We were originally going to have a local candle maker put Macintosh Apple scented candles in them (a beautiful scent and gorgeous red colour) but the opening was too small and the candle wouldn't burn. So now we have 8 of these jars and no idea what to do with them. Suggestions of ANY kind would be greatly appreciated!!

(sorry for sideways picture)

NO idea on the playing cards!  Sorry.

On the juice bottles, I would fill them with potpourri (maybe make your own??) and then drill a few holes in the metal cap and put it back on to let the scent 'time release' out the top.

I, personally, would probably use them to hold screws n stuff in the garage...I'm pretty utilitarian with jars like this Smiley

Someone here on craftster made an adorable little wallet out of Care Bear playing cards and clear packing tape, I think.

You could also decoupage them onto a hardcover journal or the top of an old nightstand.

As for the jars, you could use glass paint on the inside so that it gets a stained glass effect, and make holes in the covers through which you could put christmas lights, then you could have a little string of apple jar lights.

That might be too heavy to hang though . . . I'll post again if I get better ideas Smiley

sapphiremoon- they would be good for holding buttons and felt scraps... hmm, I think I'll save at least one for a button jar. Thanks!

styxandstones- I really like the idea of the journal. and the apple jar string just sounds ridiculously cute. Thanks to both of you!

You can sew the cards together, sandwich them in vinyl and make a purse out of them.  There's a Yahoo group named Caprisunpurses where they've made a ton of vinyl purses using cards, napkins, etc.  I've made several myself (and still have a huge collection of cute cards around here) and they are very cute!

I made a bookmark out of three of the cards that i think is pretty cute... I'm not sure if there's enough of them for a purse, although that would be sooo cute... they're just so tiny. Definitely great ideas- and the yahoo group looks really interesting....I'm looking at it right now  Tongue

The cards: cut out the bears and make magnets. Or attach onto a pair of earrings.
The jars: use them as vases for flowers. Arranged all together they would look nice. Or you can stores smaller items like beads or craft items, pastas, or even seasonings if your a good cook. Wink

The vases is a really great idea that I can't believe I didn't think of. My friend was just so set on the candles, and when that didn't work, she was like, You have to ask your craft site!!!!!! So I did.  Grin

And I always love magnets. I think I will definitely do a couple of those.

Thanks!

On making the purse out of the cards...you could maybe make a clutch, coin purse, or small-ish purse out of them.  Or, just make ONE SIDE of a vinyl bag with cards and put some cool fabric sandwiched in the vinyl on the other side.
