Hi folks!

So I passed my thesis defense and felt like I could crochet without feeling guilty.  So I made this!  (I have to link since I haven't posted ten times)

It's the Orange You Glad bag, but I made a couple of changes:

*freehanded the hippos.  I wanted to just make one, but it was too small, so I made two and my boyfriend suggested the heart.

*the purse handles are unfinished wooden beads strung on yarn.  It's pretty sturdy.

*lined the bag with plastic canvas before the fabric.  This makes for a way structured bag-- the bag pictured above has nothing in it.

Enjoy!  Any comments and critiques are most welcome.

Fabulous purse! Great job!

I too am totally upset that they are taking the servers down to fix things. Why can't they just let things stay broken? I don't care if I can't move due to lag or if quests are bugged. If I leave my room my mom may make me get a job.

love the idea of lining the purse with canvas to give it structure.  Very cool hippos.

I love your hippos.  Great job.

This looks fantastic! I love the structure the canvas gives the bag, love the beaded handles, and I just plain love hippos.  Grin
