I received yesterday from kaishabackwards!  Here's the package, 'cause photos are the reason we all come to Craftster... right?
Elephant purse:

Fillers:

Chapstick and chapstick cozy, ipod Nano cozy (looks like a little purse, and that's mesh netting across the front), and an orange zip pouch with yellow lining.  The orange fabric has a slightly darker orange pattern, which may or may not show up in the photo.  And "emergency" chocolate (you can see I've had a bit of an "emergency" already!).
Thank you, kaishabackwards!

Unfortunately, my project turned out to be much, much slower than I anticipated.  And I ran out of an important supply for the second time.  I'm already late, and trying not to be much later.  I'm going to have to make a last-minute substitution to my package and send a bag that I started a long time back and never quite finished.  I guess being past deadline is good motivation!  I hope that's okay!  I won't be able to send a giant measuring tape bag, but I can send another big woven bag.

Nice gallery so far, by the way.  Smiley

Ok, my pics are finally all uploaded, so without further ado, here it goes:

the bag

inside, with key leash (yeah no more not being able to find my keys)

close up zipper pull of inside pocket

The fillers

book cover and tea (yummy chai)

Lipbalm cozy (with lipgloss) and body lotion

tea wallet, wallet, wristlet

and the perfect ipod cozy

Thanks Diesels_mom, everything is great.

Sapphire Moon got her package today! Smiley  I hope she likes it all! Smiley

I'm sure I will Smiley  I'm not hard to please when it comes to handmade.  YOURS is the one I am worried about.  I had a bit of an issue with the strap...I think I mixed up a couple steps during the bag construction and ended up not being able to put the strap on the way it's SUPPOSED to be Cheesy  I think it ended up good for what I did to make it work...that and the EXTRA EXTRA long strap!  I love the long look, but you may want to cut it down or maybe just tie a knot, I dunno, the choice is yours.  I hope your little pixie likes her stuff too!

Yeah!  I'm so happy that you liked everything! Smiley  About the Target tote bag - I fused the bags together with an iron - there's a great tute on here how to do it.  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=178442.0
Personally I found that Target bags fuse the best and when you mentioned Target in an earlier post and said you wouldn't mind a bag made out of unconventional materials, well, I knew I had a good thing going...I just had to get enough Target bags (it took 7)...

Here is a picture of the Target bag for all of you who are wondering - I let Sapphire Moon post the rest. Smiley

That bag is great! Target just started selling bags a lot like those. I'm pretty sure at least one of their marketing people HAS to be a Craftster.
