I have been on a rodent kick lately. Getting ready for the gerbil show in May.

Oh, I love them! The color variety is pretty fantastic.

Awww! Those are so cute! I have 5 pet mice and a gerbil so I love anything rodent-realted. I've neverknitted gerbils before! Thanks for the link.

Hi all. Just to to let you kn ow that my stuffed gerbils were a big hit at the gerbil show in May. I am still knitting gerbil but I improved on the pattern. I made the tail look better and more fuller like a gerbils. I took 3 strands and threaded them in the back and braided them. Works like a charm. Did anyone make any of the rats or gerbils? I would love to see them.

thank you *SO* much for posting this thread!

one of my good friends and i are totally obsessed with gerbils, so i knit one up for her using this awesome neon yellow yarn!




sorry that the pictures are kinda dark and blurry, but i think you get the idea....
