I've been working on this swap today. But its so darn hot here I can't get much done at a time... my craft room has been in the 100s all day... bleh. Also, I need a chair to put in there, that would help things a lot.

Okay.  Sending today.  Donno how to rate the size of the objects.

One is "decrafted" I suppose, and took a couple hours of watching a movie to de-craft.

One took half an hour, while the other thing in the same object category took more like 4.

One really only took 15 minutes, but took me months to complete.

Another took maybe 30 minutes.  The last took maybe 20 minutes.

Want more teasers?  Okay.  You have eggshell and black, green, green with black and lavender, orange with silver and black, yellow with red and black, eggshell with pinks, and... I think that's about it.  Ha!  That list makes it sound really random, but there's some cohesion, well, maybe not.

DC numbers pending.

weeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Ok, finished up one swap so time to finish this one up. I have started a _____________ made from ___________,____________, and _______________ which are from _______________. I have all the ______________ I need to make a _________________. I just need to find a ______________ for it. The _____________ will only take an hour or so to finish up. I need my husband's help to make the ____________. I might make two just for kicks.

Did anyone else have a hard time throwing ANYTHING away after starting this swap? If nothing else, this swap has made me realize how much stuff we - we as in the human race - waste.

Lissaredd, I'm one of those having a hard time throwing things away.  I often look at things and think about what I can do with them besides through them away.  Things go to my "fabric that used to be clothes" pile, or the compost pile, or they get converted into planters, or I use them as plant stakes/ties.  it's gotten worse with this swap, and it's almost, with gardening season, painful to put things in the recycle bin even.  Tin cans = planters.  Plastic soda bottles (mostly my brother's contribution) = slug traps or miniature cloches for young plants.  Other plastic containers = same.  Newspaper = mulch.   It saves money though... I don't have to buy a bunch of mulch and such for the garden.

Heh, I went to a wedding over the weekend, and I started shoving pieces of ribbon (from the napkins and the favor boxes) into my purse before they got bussed off the table and into the trash.  I'm such a magpie!

Done!!  I will be sending tomorrow.

And, yeah, I have a hard time throwing anything away.  I have no garbage service, so I have to think about everything before it goes into the trash bin.
