Eh, what can I say.  I got this Pirates of the Caribbean shirt for 3$ so I didn't feel bad chopping it up and making it awesomer.  Its actually going to be sent to my little (she's not little, she's going to be 15!) YOUNGER sister for her b-day.   It is supposed to look "deconstructed."  The body is lined, and as you can see in the third picture I left intentional holes at the shoulder with the lining peeking through, an homage to the olden days when sleeves were tied on.

I'm so glad I clicked on earlier posts! I can't believe I missed this, but there are just so many posts vying for attention, you know how it is. Anyway, this is mega awesome. I LOVE all the piratey details you took the time to add. It's really well thought out. I dig the sleeves most. Great job!

Thanks!  Ever since my sister got it my other ones have been hounding me about making them one!  So I've been keeping my eyes open for other "piratey" goodies, lol.

I wish I had a crafty sister too, then I wouldn't have to prick my fingers piecing scraps together for myself Sad

Oh I will, I'm always ridiculously proud of anything I sew that turns out wearable in public, lol.  I've got a ton of projects in the works right now and I'm starting work again so who knows when I'll get around to them.  I'm glad their birthdays are aways away!  Glad you guys like it though Grin
