It truly is gorgeous (sp)  It looks like lace       I am having a new (first)great grand baby in february   I am going to look for the pattern  .Maybe I can finish it by then.

wow that is gorgeous!  I just finished a 5point star blanket that ended up being 5 1/2 ft from point to point and I thought that killed me!  I glad to see it didnt end up in the frog pond because your blanket was well worth it.

I, too made this blanket a while back, but in variegated yarn.
Some of the "swirliness" got lost, but it is still beautiful, and the recipients loved it, as well as appreciating all of the work that went into it.

Am considering making another one, but with a much bulkier yarn (and all one color to better showcase the pinwheels) as another baby gift that will be due in march. I'm curious to see how the design holds up in a larger format with less individual hexes. Plus, it'll be FO a lot quicker Wink
