This is the first skirt I have ever made without a pattern and first at attempting to reconstruction one.

The waistband/top of the skirt is made out of this holey pair of sweat shorts:

The 2nd tier is from my son's too small jeans:

The 3rd tier is from my son's too small button down shirt (sorry, don't have before pic).

I wanted to make it a little offbeat so I intentionally did not line up the seams and left the buttons from the shirt on the fabric for an added embellishment.

It looks wicked comfortable!! I've always wanted to make a skirt similar to that but always thought I'd mess it up, lol. Great job!
