I was watching TV and saw an ad for these:

The principle seemed like it would be simple to duplicate, so I bought some bottle pourers and a piece of narrow PVC pipe.  I have a collection of cool bottles that I thought I could use

I cut off two lengths of pipe and drilled holes up and down the length.  Then I closed off the equalization straw for the pourer and hot glued the pourers inside the spout.

Then stab the stake down into the plant pot until all the holes are covered, fill the bottle, and stick it on.  Done!  None of my plants have died yet, so I'm tentatively calling this one a success.

I've been wanting something like this since I've started seeing the commercials. Now I know it's possible to make my own!

I knew I had to wait a little bit and someone on here would figure it out! I've tried things, but they all turned into horrible plant water massacres!

Awesome!! Cheesy

Nice! My Mom just sticks upside down plastic water bottles into the dirt but yours look much more elegant!
