I was inspired by stopthefacades post called «I don't know what it's called, BUT I MADE IT !» (Sorry, I don't know how to post the link...)

I had this shirt that I used to love, because of the collar and details on it, but I didn't wear it anymore (euhm yeah, I forgot I owned it...)

But NOW!!! I love it! All it took were a few snips and a bit of lace around the bottom and on the shoulders and woohoo! Brand new piece of clothing! I love it!

Here's how it looked before:

I love it! I have an old dress shirt that is way too small now, but I still love it. I am definetly going to have to try this now, especially since I just bought two yards of really cute lace with no idea what to do with it.

W00t! I'm excited now!

Wow. I like what you did with that. Very nice. I love the masculine/feminine combos!

I have a very similar jacket (one of my exgirlfriend's hand-me-downs) that I never wear because it's a little too bulky and not girly enough. So I might try doing something similar to lighten it up. I don't have anything to lose, since the jacket was free and I don't wear it anyway. Smiley
