I'm getting ready to move to Boston and I'd like to know of any good thrift stores in the area.

Let's see..

There's Boomerangs in JP, Urban something-or-other which has one in Harvard Square, I think. There's a bunch of Goodwills around and there's a place called the Garment District between Kendall/MIT and Central Square that's pretty awesome.

I don't know about immediately in Boston, I'm sure there's tons. Where in the Boston area are you moving to?

There's a good sized Salvation Army in Saugus on Route 1, and I know Saugus isn't far from Boston at all (I have family there and it's only about a 10-15 min. ride from there place... so probably 20-25 to the Salvation Army store?).

There's also a newish (within the year or so) thrift store in Inman Sqaure, about a block from Bukowskis. I can't remember the name of it, and it's a little on the pricy side, but they have some great clothes!
My favorite is the Goodwill in central Square and Boomerangs in JP.
