I'm getting ready to move to Boston and I'd like to know of any good thrift stores in the area.

Thanks ahead of time!!

Let's see..

There's Boomerangs in JP, Urban something-or-other which has one in Harvard Square, I think. There's a bunch of Goodwills around and there's a place called the Garment District between Kendall/MIT and Central Square that's pretty awesome.

I don't know about immediately in Boston, I'm sure there's tons. Where in the Boston area are you moving to?

There's a good sized Salvation Army in Saugus on Route 1, and I know Saugus isn't far from Boston at all (I have family there and it's only about a 10-15 min. ride from there place... so probably 20-25 to the Salvation Army store?).

There's also a newish (within the year or so) thrift store in Inman Sqaure, about a block from Bukowskis. I can't remember the name of it, and it's a little on the pricy side, but they have some great clothes!
My favorite is the Goodwill in central Square and Boomerangs in JP.
