A few weeks ago I made my first lined aline(brown & pink) for DD using New Look 6578. All I can say is I am hooked! These are so easy to make. My favorite is the jalapeno dress, can you tell I was born and raised in Louisiana...Eieeeeee!!!! Kiss? The ducky outfit is my really cute except for the pants (NewLook 6713), they fit like a garbage bag Angry. If someone has any insight on a better fitting pants/capri pattern for diaper wearing toddlers, please let me know.

Here is what I made so far........

Thanks for looking!

They are adorable (and so is she). I think that little A lines look so cute on little girls  Smiley

Those are too cute. What about using a pair of pants she already has and making a pattern from those.

lucky girl!  They look great and well made.

I'm wondering about diaper butt pants too - if I find a way of modifying a regular pattern to give a little extra room I'll share.

For pants I use a girls pattern and then shorten the legs and when I hem the waistband I lower the rise if necessary.  Knit waistbands rock, too, if you can get some dance knit or some stretchy rib knit, just stretch it to fit as you sew and it will fit nice and snug when you're done.  DD has a pair of jeans I made her with a girl's size 3 and their only big flaw is I didn't shorten them quite enough!  Means they'll fit again next winter, tho!

Wait, where did those come from?  I swear I didn't go to the craft store, honest!

Cute stuff!  It looks like you're on a roll!  You have quite a little angel there too.

Ooh, I also love the jalapeno one, especially with the big orange buttons.  The paisley one looks really cute, too.

They're all great!
