Wanna make some new Craftster Friends?

I"m a mom of two.. and desperately hoping to learn how to sew. I have an awesome machine, but it does so much that so far I've only been successfully at breaking needles!  i really need to learn to sew..  i live in the middle of nowhere... we have all of 800 people in our town.  I'm in Alexandria.. but i can come as close as Lebanon.. anyone feel like venturing out this way?    or would consider giving me lessons... if you cheaper then the craft stores, i would love lessons .. i just don't have that kind of money with a newborn and my toddler

just moved to nashville/hermitage last month. i'd love to meet some craftsters! i knit, sew, crochet, paint, make jewelry, and just about whatever attracts my brain long enough to start something. are there still meetups going on?

Week day evenings would be best for me. And Wednesday evenings are just fine. I live in M'boro but I work in Nashville and don't mind driving some.

I can suggest some places in Murfreesboro. I am not sure what part of town you are wanting to meet at.
