Oh it's true, I showed a couple friends even this messed up version and they liked the ruffly sort of look. It does look cool in its way, but I want my Luna scarf. Smiley

Xenolai, I love the color you chose for your scarf!

I finished the scarf for my mom a week ago, but I didn't have time to post the pictures until now. Here it is:

It was supposed to be two shades of blue, one a lighter color on one half and on the other half a darker shade, but I discovered that the thread I was using was too thin, so I used both threads at the same time. I think it actually looks better than the first one Smiley

Thanks! on the wrap around the ball it said it was baby thread, not that it had any real meaning. Figured it was some thread used for baby clothes Tongue

blue.starlight, I agree, the color is lovely! I never would have thought to work it in 2 thinner colors of yarn. That opens up a whole world of possibilities!

It sure does...and also, I was thinking of adding beads but the yarn needs to be thin...hmmm ideas abound!

(does anyone else want her ironing board cover as well?... Cheesy)

Thanks! I didn't think of it either. As new as I am at crocheting, I didn't even thought it would matter if the thread was thin or not.

Now I didn't think about bead, but it sure sounds fun. Might try it, after I finish the project I'm on.

Mine's finished!

I used Road to China Carnelian from the Fibre Company (not cheap, but so soft and cuddly and shiny) and I plan to make another in an actual grey instead of rose.
