I'm making a second one of these for my mom's birthday... I'm using white baby yarn and it's turning out well.  I'll post a pic when I've finished.   Smiley

This is beautiful!  Shocked I love the color, too - at least how it appears on my screen.  I personally like the way yours turned out; the weight seems to hold the form and shape better than a lighter weight might.

I've got some Lion Brand white multi (sparkly white) that I think I will use to try this with... it's a worsted weight, so I'm thinking I'll go with a larger hook..... If I can ever get out from under the mountains of started projects - or at least convince myself it's ok to start another - I'll work this up and post!

Thanks for the tut!!!!   Kiss

I love everyones scarves, they all look so good in every color!  I can't wait to try this pattern, soon. It looks like everyone is using just a regular yarn, has anyone used a silkier yarn?  Wonder if that would work too?

I love that! It looks so pretty, I might make mine in red or green. I want it to totally stand out so people will notice the intricate work!

I just made one for my friend for her birthday! I've been wanting to try out this pattern for a while, just never had the reason/time. I followed the pattern exactly except I used an H hook, since I crochet tightly. I used Patons Merino in Wedgewood. I've been wanting an excuse to use this yarn, and I like how it turned out!

And a macro/angled shot...

Thanks for the pattern!
