WARNING: This being my second knitting project, my first sewing/embroidery project (I made that part up as I went along), and not being from a pattern or even having seen an item done like this (excluding Game Boy Advance SP cases, to some extent), those who are good at doing any of these things might want to gouge their eyes out with their own needles as they look at this project. You have been warned...    Tongue

EDIT: Aaaaand this is not on the board with the rest of its cozy brethren. My apologies. I completely missed that somehow.

Anyway, as mentioned in the warning, I made this up as I went along. I needed a case so my little Nano didn't get scratched up while riding around with my keys, and though I could have bought one, why buy when you can create?

Internet love. It's kind of uneven everywhere.

Side view. I didn't even think how much this would look like an Oreo before the zipper was already sewn in. Not that Oreos are a bad thing.

Inside. This is what I figured would make avid sewing and embroidery enthusiasts want to die. Then again, I don't really know what this kind of thing is supposed to look like, so maybe that's normal for a first attempt without any prior knowledge.

So there he is, my little cozy-child. Comments are welcome, as are any tips on needlework. I enjoyed doing it, but I'm pretty sure most of it is not as nice-looking as it could be.

Really clever to include the zip. I think my son would like one of these. I might dip out do a velcro flap though !
