I sort of like how it turned out, the color combo didn't look the same as I was working the purse as it did when I looked at the balls of thread when I was picking the colors so I thought it wouldn't turn out to my liking, but in the end I think it turned out pretty cute, and cute is good...  Smiley  Cute works for me anyway... Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

I'm amazed at how well the pattern came out, the rainbow yarn is so hard to plan out... unless you didn't use rainbow yarn in which case I'm doubly amazed by your patience... it's really pretty!

I rocked your purse because it's simply adorable! I really like how you did the handles. Is this body of the purse worked as one oblong piece and then put together or was it done in the round, so to speak? (I crochet but don't really know the lingo.) You're right about the colors, they came together fabulously, dalink!

Thank you all!
For your nice comments.
In response to the various questions, I made the pattern up as I went along, I used crochet thread from my (pretty huge--trying to work it down) stash, I worked it round and round, and with the pattern thread, what I have found is that if you use it for just an accent line, you don't get into those weird zig-zag patterns, so that's what I do, and I have some of these for sale on my youcraft.org site, although I don't have this one out there (don't want to run into trouble with craftster though, for mentioning that, I hope I don't, I just mention it because someone asked).
I should add that these are sort of flimsy, they're not going to hold heavy stuff gladly.  Smiley
Thanks again.
