My sons want a cool mosaic mirror for their room.  So, I got some decorative paper from the craft store and was thinking about gluing that to the wooden frame I got and then gluing clear glass on top so you could see it.  I've never tried this before and was wondering if anyone has here and if so, did it end up working?  I'm concerned about what happens when you grout it.  Any suggestions welcome...thanks! Meaco

As long as you get a good seal around and under the glass, there will be no problems at all with grout. However, if you don't get a good seal the grout will seep under the glass, and that will be apparent when it is done.

The best way to get a good seal it to use plenty adhesive, press down the glass to remove any air bubbles, and then wipe off any excessive amounts of adhesive that could hinder the grouting.

Look forward to seeing the piece! Smiley

Thanks for the reply!  I've been doing mosaics for ages, but for some reason have never tried this.  I'll probably get started sometime this week.  Will post soon...if all goes well! Smiley
