I checked out your link. It looks pretty cool. You could really carry a lot in that bag and be organized too! Thanks for adding it!

I've wanted to create a tote for my sewing machine for awhile now but was never able to find a fabric I was crazy about. Alas, I found some!
This is awesome!  I wanted to make a tote for my portable machine, because I didn't really like the looks of the ones already on the market, and now you've inspired me to give it a go.

I made a version of this and it's great--I have everything in one bag!

I carrried my machine out tonight and the bag worked  so great! It fits nicely with no worries of damage and is carried easily over my shoulder. It is even roomy enough to carry material and supplies in! Yeah, I love it!!!

It's funny you posted this, since I was just thinking about making a bag for my machine. I, too, sometimes tote it to "sewing parties" with my sisters. I had been thinking about the Amy Butler Weekender, but your bag is much simpler and still very cute. I love the fabric too - I had been checking this out on eBay last week! I think this would be great with a gussetted zipper at the top, but that's just because I tend to fill my bags with as much as possible! Congrats!
