Shibakhah the Hungry Monster Hoodie. NOW WITH BACKGROUND STORY!

INTRODUCING.... Shibakhah the Hungery Monster Hoodie and the child he devoured...

I have been told that Shibakhah is a friendly monster that just likes to chew on things. Here is his story::

He was roaming the land looking for something to chew on when he spotted some cows in a field. One by one he gnawed on them, but the flavor just wasn't quite right. However, he noticed that suddenly his body became spotted like the cows!

He continued his crawl looking for something tasty to hang out with. There in his path was a 10-eyed tree frog. He wrapped his blue teeth around it. "Ew! Not the flavor I wanted!" he said and spat out the tree frog. Then, his body morphed again. Eyes sprang up in each of the spots. "These eyes are pretty cool, but I really wanna find something yummy... I want a friend to play with."

On he crawled, till he got to a house with a little boy. Shibakhah climbed up on the little boy and instantly felt comfy. He wondered if he had finally found a friend. Then, he did it. He gnawed. "OH!!! So sweet and yummy! Let's go play," he said as his body morphed once more. The eyes on the back formed a smiley face because he was so happy he finally found a friend.

My Version of the Story::
This is my first challenge ever and wooh did we almost not make it. For this challenge, my 5 year old son and I scoured the Dollar Tree for ideas. They had shirts!!! For $1!!! That made us say wow! Then, in the stuffed animal department we found some great "puff balls" with potential monster fur. Last, but not least, we grabbed some googly eyes and Velcro from the "craft" aisle. This of course was like 3 weeks ago. Then, my hectic school schedule and family stuff kept getting in the way. But I had promised we would make it and submit it for this challenge. And boy, has he kept asking about it. Today, we spent the day ripping apart puff balls, and putting the eyes in just the right places. Finally we have the mini-monster hoodie::

$1 1 child sized light blue t-shirt
$1 1 smaller child sized dark/bright blue t-shirt
$2 2 blue "puff balls" gutted to utilize the fur and their innards became the stuffing for the horns
$1 1 green "puff ball" again gutted for fur
$1 1 package Velcro
$1 1 package googly eyes

Total $8!!!!!!! This is the absolute most awesomest (wonderful use of the English language =^.^= ) hoodie EVER for $8... at least in my ever humble opinion.

I was somewhat inspired by The Monster Hats found here and all the crazy hoodies I've ever seen. Although I had seen the teeth around the face on the above hat, Kirin insisted that the teeth be like the "Omnomnom" Hat on my avatar on gaiaonline.com.
