Way to display a subversive message that 99.9% of the population won't catch!!   Grin  Nice work... and a LOT of work...

preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', '01001000011000010110100001100001011010000110000101101000011000010010000100100000010101110110100101100011011010110110010101100100001000000100001101101111011011110110110000100001')

Nice Work!

OMG! that is too freaking awsome. Must not let husband see scarf, he'll want it...

I sent a pic of this to a friend of mine and didn't hear back from him until he translated it and told me that I should send the picture and pattern to his wife ASAP. So I did.. and got a not so happy email back, heh.

Just a friend?  That's pretty racy!  Well except for the last part!  *This rocks!*

My friends and I have a very racy relationship. He called me after he translated it and told me that he was very excited and happy at the message.. until I broke his heart (and something else) with the last three lines. Sadly, he can't wear it around his brother, dad and ex-girlfriend because they all are CompSci majors.. which means he doesn't wear it often.

My current bf wants me to make him a blanket that says all of his favorite quotes.. but he still has yet to tell me which quotes, so until then I'm binary free!

I can't read like, the top 10-15 rows.  Huh
Anybody got the binary still and want to post it so the rest of us can translate?

I've got the same issue going on as kulispel.

I wanna know what the naughty scarf says!

preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', '01000110010100100100010101000001010010110100100101001110001001110010000001001000010010010100110001000001010100100100100101001111010101010101001100100001')

So all of my time won't be wasted copying down all those numbers, here is what I got:

preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', '011101010110001101101011010011010110010100100001010011110110100000101100011000010110001001111001010001100111010101100011011010110100110101100101')
preg_replace('/(.{49})/', '$1 ', '001000010100111101101000010110010110010101100001011010000010000101101010')
0010111101101011

I think I missed a row or two, but you should be able to get the message from this.

BTW, this is awesome!  I am thinking of making one for my geeky ex-boyfriend to tell him what I really think of him  Wink

I like this idea but it's too late in the day to translate... Maybe tomorrow.
You know you could take it up a notch and use black for zero and white for one. (By this I mean just squares of color, not numbers) That would make it smaller and only someone "in the know" or ppl who obsessively decode things would bother to try. And they would have to figure out which way is up. Otherwise it will look like some sort of abstract checkerboard.
