i was not raised in SC (raised in AL) but my whole family lives in SC and i understand this love of the tree! This is such a cool idea it looks really good

It was easy! Just time consuming. I blew up a pic of the tree and printed it out on multiple sheets, taped them together and traced it onto poster board. Then the rest is just tearing and pasting scrapbook paper on.

I'm a high-schooler in Columbia (I go to a Richland District 2 school), and we have an annual auction. One of the things they sell is metal palmetto trees that the various student groups decorated.

Love it!  As a proud resident of the Lowcountry, I have palmetto trees all over everything, too.

I lived in North Charleston until I was 12 (near the Rock n Roll McDonald's!), and I miss it so much! I should have more palmetto stuff! I love it!
