okay so i was thinking of having a kawaii charm swap

everyone would make a number equal to the amount of swappers of the same charm [could be made of clay] that they would mail to each participant and keep one for themselves

so when it was over you would have a charm bracelet of kawaii goodness Cheesy

does anyone think they would want to participate in this?

oh and i was thinking of having the sign-ups around mid april

[and it would be sooooo inexpensive due to the fact that the charm will fit in a regular envelope!  Wink]

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

yeah just because it seems pretty simple for my first time organizing

but since we dont really have that many people interested yet i was thinking of pushing back sign-ups a bit

I didn't know that kawaii meant cute, I knew it was Japanese related...I kinda thought they were characters or something...
could we make anything as long as it's "cute"?
I think this is a pretty cool idea, but I might have to wait a while to join...

If you edit your first post title to change kawaii to cute, you'll get more interest.

I'm surprised that so many people don't know what Kawaii means! Well I am doing my first swap and sendouts are April 19 so if signups for this swap are anytime after that I would seriously join! I love making kawaii things and I LOVE jewelery and charm bracelets, so I'm in.

Are you still gonna do this swap?  I keep checking because id really like to do another swap, but none of the posted ones interest me at the moment.
