My 13 year old said that I MUST learn how to make that for her...She aslo said it would look good as a watermelon...I just love it. Im not sure how it would look on me...maybe like a fruit truck hit a wall....a veeeeery BIG wall. But I may have to try this one for Kayla.

ditto!!! that really is a precious skirt, it reminds me of the wrappers of those hard candies....u know what i mean?

I know exactly what candies you guys refer to, I think. Roll Eyes Hehe, we have them here in Sweden too, but in a lollipop version.
So that's why I felt the urge to lick that skirt? Grin

Heehee, looks like I'm a hit with the little kids then?  Wink  I'm sure if I had thought of this when I was 5, I would have made my mum make me one too! angelextreme, and I think I might have to try that next! I actually saw this huge watermelon beach umbrella that I thought would make a cool skirt - just cut a hole in the middle!

For people wanting a tute, would you like me to just explain it, or should I do it in Paint? It's not too hard to explain if you know how to make a general skirt with a facing or waistband (I used both techniques).
