So yesterday I sewed a button onto a shirt for the first time (appalling I know) and then it suddenly got me thinking about sewing and I had nothing to do today so I gave it a shot and came out with this. It took me a few hours, but this including learning how to use the sewing machine (what a strange beast it is!) and basically everything else. It's attached using a popper. I know it's not fantastic in the slightest but I just wanted to show it to some people as prior to 12 o'clock today I didn't even know how to knot a needle! I might try and make a cushion cover tomorrow......

Nothing wrong with that purse Smiley I really like the fabric and the matching button. And sewing isn't that complicated at all. Maybe as a tip: I learned a lot from free tutorials here and there on the Internet.

Recently 'discovered' sewing machines and now I am addicted. I have been making clothes and bags and I want to try to make poppet sometime soon.
