I guess this is kind of a book... Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

Anyway, my fellow has seen me through some tough times as of late, and I wanted to do something as a gesture of appreciation and affection. I can't claim this idea as my own, but here it is:

What's happening on the inside...

So many things went unexpectedly with this little project... First off, I was just going off the colours of the cards and how they would match the black velvet ribbon I already had and thus did not realise I picked up pinochle cards (hence the forty-eight instead of fifty-two reasons). Then, I vastly underestimated the time it would take to punch holes in a bunch of cards, write a bunch of things, cut out tiny bits of paper, glue them to cards, and then dry all of them. I also debated about printing the reasons instead of hand-writing them since my handwriting isn't too swell, but in the end, though it would look better typed, I decided it would be sweeter for him to look back on if it was hand-written.   Grin  Hopefully he'll like it, which would make the hours totally worthwhile.

RAAAARAH!

I had a single-hole punch and after punching the first card, I used it as a template.
