Hello!
This is my first post, with my first burda pattern: Zoe 8123.  It was pretty easy, except for the collar, which I initially sewed on sideways.  I couldn't figure out why it was so bizarre looking, until I realized that everything was a quarter turn off.  Also, I haven't worn it out yet, because it has been so bleeding cold, and I really want to pair it with a white belt.  I got the fabric from goodwill.  The 'belt' in this picture is my roommate's tie.
Also, the pictures were taken for my fiancee's art project, so they are not all fashiony and pretty.  Bordering on unflattering...

Enjoy!

I really love this dress - and the retro fabric is fab!!! Good job - a nice white belt will be perfect with it Smiley

That is super cute!  I wish I could pull off the minidress look, but alas, it would just look like a weird fitting top on me Smiley

That looks great. I really like the way it looks with the tie as a belt... you should definitely consider making an asymmetrical belt to wear with it. I can't quite put my finger on why, but it cuts across the fabric in a really interesting way and makes it look really cute and mod.

Great dress! I love the fabric and I even think the white tie looks good in place of a belt.
