Yay!  So this is my first clothing post and the first article of clothing I have sewn since I was in 4-H way back when!  I love love love owls and so when I saw this fabric, I knew I had to make something with it.  I used the pattern New Look 6576 (without the appliques, thank you very much!)  It was fairly straightforward, the only part I had trouble with was the button holes.  I have a very old machine, and it does NOT like to zigzag.  I think the tension is all out of whack.  I swear the thread broke at least twice on each of the buttonholes.  But it's finished and now my little darling has a new dress!

A fabric close up, as requested Smiley

Thanks for looking!

This is thoroughly adorable! I love it, great work. Do you have a close up of the pattern of the fabric?

It's not what you know, but what you do with what you know that is important.

Thanks!  I'm rather pleased with how it came out.  Ok . . . I'm pretty excited.   Cheesy  I went out to JoAnn's today and bought some Christmassy/wintery fabric to make a few more of these!

I have that pattern too!  I left out the appliques also.  Wasn't it funny how fat the pattern's envelope was. They crammed so much stuff in there... so many appliques!  Funny, now that I think of it I made my dd's jumper from corduroy too!  Nice work!
