it doesn't have to start with the ligature. if i'm going to break the "rules" and use it in her actual name i can break the rules and use a word that has it in the middle. like medival, archology, encyclopdia, frie (my favourite so far), and formul (which i also like, i see test tubes, coloured liquid and smoke!).

and that there is a ten letter name. whew. you could shorten it to alex, i think a ten page felt book will be more like a felt block!
or maybe two letters on each page. what a labour of love.

Thank you! I am thinking about doing the idea of doing the letter and the picture on the same page and that way it's less pages.
