This is my first project on Craftster, and my first project that hasn't been a scarf or a simple dog sweater (which I only made for practice).  There are a few mistakes, but for a first try I don't think it's too shabby.  It's for my friend's new baby - she met her husband when she auditioned for his rock band, and doesn't go for frilly pink girly crap.

This is so awesome!  Where did you find the pattern or did you make it up?  I would love to make one for a friend of mines daugter...she is not pink frilly girl either.

Thanks so much!  For the sweater itself I used a free pattern I found, the Five Rectangle Sweater which is here:


For the lettering, though, I just made up a pattern.  I planned it out on a speadsheet, so it's pretty rudimentary.  It doesn't upload as a photo, so I'll email it to you.  Smiley
