I'm finding a couple places that sell colors (a very SMALL selection of colors), but I want to find some cute prints. Lexie Barnes and Timbuk2 have to get there stuff somewhere!

Have you tried E-Bay? There are awning making places that might have leftovers, as well. Or, I buy my Ballistic Nylon at a upholstery/window treatment shop. ($$$$) Further, you might try a marine reupholstry place (A place where they replace the canvas and stuff on boats.)
These are just a few ideas.
Anyone else have any ideas?

I don't know the 2 refrences you mentioned. Are they etsy sellers? Are they designers I have not yet heard about selling in big stores? (I'm perpetually out of the loop on designers).

If they are designers, not very likely you can get the same fabrics. Most designers that aren't doing their own fabric print designs buy up all of any given fabric to prevent copies & knock offs. Only after the season do they sell off excess fabric stock. Designers who do design their own prints have rigid contracts with the fabric producers to prevent copies & extra going to anyone but them, even missprints are destroyed or held for several seasons before it can be sold off.

If they are etsy sellers they might have an inside track on great fabrics somewhere- they are likely spending a lot on these hard to find fabrics as well.

lexiebarnes.com and timbuk2.com. They are bag makers. I don't want their patterned ballistic nylon, I just want some cool fabric to make my own bags. I can't seem to find it patterned anywhere, even on Etsy and Ebay.

I'm more than likely going to be moving to Seattle soon, so maybe I can scope some out there. It drives me nuts that I can't find bags that have all the specifics I want, but I can't get the fabric I want to make them!
