Everything stops for tea

This is only the second time I've ever successfully felted something.

The first time took about three hours for me to make, it was a flat piece and I didn't get much enjoyment out of it- in face my hands really hurt and I hated it, I vowed never to do it again.

But recently I've fallen in love with the lovely wispy texture felted things get.

So here is the quintessential icon of English high tea, done in wet felting:



This felted *so* quick and I love how it looks. New obsession perhaps?

If there are any tips for me I'd love to hear them- Please be honest!

Oh my goodness! It's so realistic! I thought it was probably from the food section! I don't know what felting is supposed to look like, but this is awesome!
