I made this for the Spice Up My Kitchen! swap. It's from Amy Butler's book, and I love the fabric so much that I'm definitely going to make another one for myself. Smiley

I thought the pattern was pretty beginner-friendly, though some of the RS/WS instructions were counter-intuitive at first. The only thing I'd have done differently is to tuck under the raw edges on the sides (on the back - they're folded and top-stitched on the front).

My next project will be the Amy Butler potholders! This is becoming addictive.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!

I know that I shouldn't have seen this, however, I was looking at your profile for something for our other swap and happened to recognize the fabric from the teaser...

I LOVE IT!!!   Grin

Now why didn't Mr. Postman bring it to me today???  Hopefully tomorrow!!!

and PS...I love Amy Butler's In Stitches....you almost got those pot holders in your swap package, but I wasn't sure if it'd go with your kitchen since I was focusing more on the dining room redo!

OH NO! That's too funny - I was scrambling to get some pictures of things I'd made that I liked for my partner in the science swap, and I didn't even think you might stumble on it. Well, I guess you can consider it an extra teaser shot. I feel like such a bad swapper, haha...

I'm definitely making one for myself. And I actually bought fabric to make them the other day. Smiley

So, my apologies for showing this too soon, but I'm glad you like it. Smiley
