Lmcbride that is one awesome ball! Your handspun yarns look so pretty And britnlind I can't wait to see what else is in there, the journal is so pretty and I love how you pinned the flowers to the ball.

That handspun is such a pretty color. I cannot wait until I get some and start spinning. I did not knit or know anything about yarn before this site. Now I am hunting down every yarn store I can find in SD. We have a bunch that are really nice. It's a great balance because we really don't have any good fabric stores so I can knock off some knitting while waiting for fabric to arrive in the mail.

I really enjoyed making that journal. I am covering my sketch book as we speak. Almost kept that for myself Ha. Thanks for the kind words FruitLoops.

Here is the magic yarn ball britnlind sent me:



2 hello kitty pouches, ribbon, mardi gras type bead bracelets, green pouch, notebook, fabric flowers?, red heart yarn, additional printed off patterns. I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to make yet because I haven't recieved the pattern.

Okay, I've been gone all week so I couldn't post my goodies, but here they are at last! I didn't cheat by unrolling my ball all at once. I let the goodies fall out as I worked. I was staying with a friend all week and he loved my swap package! Here it is:





My pattern was for a 3 legged wiener dog plushie.  TracyBSN modified the pattern for my pup.    I made the ears stick out more and I made a little nub for my plush.

My favorite item: a recycled luggage tag with the cork guy and my username! I've already used it on my luggage once and can't wait to show the other mods in Boston!

A bunch of teeeeeny little food accessories for my tiny polymer foods. Yay! I adore them all, but the little glass one is my fave. It's hard to take pics of it though!

I got a gray (!) body pouf (I really did need a new one), a tiny pot for growing oregano (seriously, I always forget to buy oregano), a crap ton of cool scrunchies and hair stuff (I'm already wearing 2 sets of pink ones right now), lip gloss, her first felted item (cool hair clip), stick on tattoos, hot chocolate mix, a glasses case (love it!), a nummy smelling candle, stitch markers (that I'm using right this second) and a chocolate bar as my gift for finishing the project! Everything came with gorgeous little notes.
This was such an awesome swap and TracyBSN totally spoiled me. I couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful and wonderful partner.

I got my ball from beckster today, too. I totally cheated and opened it all up. I knit as slow as molasses and I didn't feel like making you all wait... okay... there is no way I have the patience you all have.

i really want to start knitting one of my yarn ball projects...i must finish the baby blanket im working on first. i wish it was a little faster to knit though.

hehehe...I steal my boyfriends nice pens and then hide them from him.  I'm bad.  I kinda 'collect' pens too!
