OK, now it's Jenny's turn....

JennyBear had to send her items to me in a couple of mailings, so Ive been holding off posting until everything arrived, which it now has, and here they are for your viewing pleasure---

Jenny crocheted me not only an Indy amigurumi, but a Marian as well!

The design on Marians mountain shirt, somehow painted or drawn onto the felt, is a nice bit of costume detail.  Indy did come which his iconic fedora, but unfortunately as I was trying to fit it onto his head for these pictures it popped apart; however, I still have the pieces and one of these days Ill figure out how to remake it.

That first package also included two slim, stitch-bound blank books, one of which contains a few sketches nicely copied from Dr. Jones, Sr.s own notebook -- this one was always my favorite in the movie:

In Jennys second package was an item I noted on my questionnaire as being something that, if you found it in your swap package, would completely make your day but certainly never expected anyone to make a backpack!  The one Jenny made is Indiana Jones-style, with a flap; there are also two narrow pockets on the outside (perfect for cell phone, keys, pens, etc.).  And she made a pouch of the same material, embroidered with a design based on Marians shirt:

Closeup and detail of the embroidery:

The backpack straps and the jungle-y flower lining (which is also inside the pouch):

The backpack is messenger bag size, with plenty of room for everything I haul around, and could probably accommodate my laptop as well; the color in the first picture is closest to the heavy duck or muslin type fabric Jenny used.  Now I just need to get some Scotchguard to protect it from the marks and stains that will inevitably accompany the daily use I plan to put it through!

Thank you so much, Jenny, for everything!

Yes...love the lining fabric too! Such a suprise! Also, the amigurumi's are so cute! I adore anything crocheted cute!

The drawings in the notebook/journals look exactly like the ones in Henry Sr.'s diary! Very cool!

Thank you waterbaby for posting more detailed photos! I wanted to see more detail of your polymer clay masterpieces! Awesome!

Kelda, Those finger puppets are going to have to go on my WIST list! May even have to haunt you for a personal swap too...as my kiddies would have a blast with those! You rock! Wink

ooh!  everything is so cute here!  i'm sorry i held the swap up, my computer's insides got too dusty so it broke XP.
umheried spoiled me with such a fantastic package, i kept pulling things out, it was packed!  goodies!

a crocheted whip which i promptly swung about the house, some Canadian candy (yum!), and pretty stones to put on necklaces and such Cheesy

a bag with pictures from the movies, a travel diary (with another picture of Indy!), and an awesome scroll container with hieroglyphs and runes(?) on it.  SO cool!

besides this picture being horrible and not doing the shirt justice, it's a black and red hoodie that says "I said NO camels!".

in short (round Smiley), WOW.  i lovelovelove my package.  thank you umheried and thank you kelda!
