I recently was moved into a cubical and after having a wall length window previously, I needed some extra light. Plus my eye doctor said that a little lamp on your desk helps prevent your eyes from feeling tired at the end of the day. So anyways, I was looking around goodwill the other day and found a cute and simple white lamp. Well you know us crafty people can’t leaving something plain, lol. So I added leopard print fabric and trim to the shade then painted the wooden base a bright pink. It took me 5 or 6 attempts to get the “right” shade of pink to match the fabric! Lol.

Anyways, Thanks for looking!

Why is it that I can no longer buy anything that has a slight chance I could make it myself? Even if I don't know how to make it, or it's cheaper to buy...I can no longer buy it because "I could make that myself".

that is really cute! I bet it really brightens up your cube (pun intended!) I really like your flower pens, too.
