...chop those babies UP! There's a purse waiting to happen!

Check out my YouTube Video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0QVnGmpU5Q

This was my first challenge so I thought I'd go nuts and try my hand at this Dollar Store Challenge. I love feeling "cheap and dirty" when I walk around in those stores...so why not make something of it ?!?!

What I did was I cut up 6 cheap-o Gift Bags and reconstructed them into a "Candy Wrapper" clutch. I decided to go "minimalist" and see what I could do with bare-bone materials. I ended up cramming most of the work into 2 long stretches of cutting/folding/weaving and sewing. I stayed up all night last night to get it done...then waited for daylight to take pictures.

Time to hit the hay!

But before I do, here's some more pictures...

Very cool idea!  It looks nice and sturdy, and lord knows I'm a sucker for a shiny purse.   Kiss

Love your photography too!

Looks designer-esque. I can imagine someone charging HUNDREDS of dollars for something like this.  Good job!
