*Very* cool. Quite inspired and you did a great job! Isn't there a saying: precipitation on mother is the necessity of an invention?  Cheesy

There are so many CRAZY entries. I'm happy to see something useful and cool at the same time. Something that won't be thrown away after the challenge. You've got my vote!

Thanks for the lovely replies! It really was ridiculously easy to make - I drafted it right on the pram with left over bits from the cape. I do so love a model that stands still while drafting and doesn't need to breathe. And the vinyl was really easy to sew, I was surprised.

I'm super impressed, this is awesome. Not only is it practical (and like someone said useful even after this challenge is over) but it's incredibly professional looking (as if it were store bought like so). Yay for happy dry babies and mommies!

Thanks guys!

I love to enter challenges but I really have no space for random stuff, so the extra challenge is to make useful stuff that still fits the bill.

Also, finding a store-bought cover that still allows for infant breathing seems a little hard for some reason  Undecided. I mean really, you just need to keep a light rain off, not batton down the hatches for a raging storm. But still they seem so closely fitting that it must get awful hot during a summer shower.

And I have serious issues with raincoats since my mum stuck me in one of those horridly tight bright yellow raincoats as a kid. I hate to feel restricted and I always get hot and horrid when tightly wrapped in vinyl... funny that  Tongue. So this is my nod to sticking out the tongue at breathless vinyl.
