I've been sewing on the dining room table and too lazy to tote the sewing machine and supplies up and down the stairs every night means that we've been eating every meal in front of the TV. So this weekend I tackled turning our guest room/craftroom/laundry room/ misc. storage room into a nice comfy space. It still has a lot of growing to do but I can already feel the creative juices flowing just being in there.

I wish I had taken before pictures so that you could all see the transformation, but I'm never that farsighted. it was super cluttery and plain.

Sewing table (with some cupcake soaps - my first batch!)

Old toolbox art supply storage:

Scrapbook paper "tiled" wall (Idea borrowed from DithMer:http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=151134.0)

New shelves for craft books and some of my creations:

Wow. That looks great. The paper idea looks really nice too. I also see a very cute kitty sleeping. I also like your sewing machine near the window. I love natural light to craft.

So cool! I love the toolbox as as "art"box and I love the b/w paper wall Smiley

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.
