If I'm ever going to marry, I have to make my dress out of thrift store materials! It's fantastic!

Wow, that's gorgeous dress. I never would have thought that the materials for it came from dollar tree. THis rocks!

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

Wow, thanks everybody! I'm blushing from all this praise. I'm always so blown away by what everyone comes up with for the challenges, so it feels good to return the favor.  Kiss

By the way, how did your mom react to the April Fool's joke? lol

Haha, my mom knows me too well--her first question was "Is that your Halloween costume, or did you find that dress at a thrift store?"

Then when I said "You didn't think for a minute that I might have eloped?" (my boyfriend and I have been together for nearly a decade) she answered that she knew I would never deprive her of such a rich opportunity for micro-managing as planning my wedding.

(And the reasons I haven't taken the plunge become clearer... Wink )

I did fool a couple of my friends when I put the pic up on my Facebook page, though.

I kept saying "a shower curtain. A shower curtain??" over and over. I really like that it DOESN'T look like a shower curtain. It took some time for me to be convinced that it WAS one.

Your Dollar Tree has classier stuff than mine! Nice job! I like the back especially.
