I would adopt him even without the bandanna, he is sooooo handsome!!!  The bandanna will certainly get him noticed though, it's very cute!!

I ask for so little...just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave.

Boxers are the BEST!!!

Ooh my friend wants me to make one for her... do you know the approximate dimensions? I don't have a dog around to measure... LOL

The bandanna was made for a 30 pound puppy, so it wouldn't scrape the ground. the triangle sides of the bandanna are about 6 1/2 inches, at the widest part of the bandanna it is 8 1/4 and the part at the very top that the collar gets stuck through is a total of five inches, sewn over into a collar sleeve so each side is 2 1/2 inches. For a larger dog I would maybe add an inch to the triangle sides and one inch to the total width. The collar sleeve was for a standard large collar.

I hope that makes since. Its late. And I just finished working on pimping my dog's crate and have to stop due to running short of a needed supply.

Oh excellent! That was about the size I had figured... I folded a piece of paper and placed across my legs like you did in your photo... but didn't know how my legs compared to yours... LOL... I got fabric today and am super excited to make some!!

Here are my two - made them for a friend who fosters dogs. Hope she likes them and that they work. They are double-sided, so reversable to not say "adopt me"  Thanks much for the idea!!!

I make doggie bandannas all the time.  I buy the .99 handkerchiefs from walmart, or use fat quarters and fold them in triangles and sew....definitely an easy cute craft!

Great idea. I love the fabric.
All my bunnies are Easter bunny rejects. I don't see any point in having pure breds. I love the mutts. If I ever get a dog it will be a rescue. Your poster boy is really cute.

I love this idea! I think I will make some for our local Humane Society - maybe also a few more that say "I Was Adopted!" for new puppers going home, or for the media Smiley Great craft!!
