Let me first start of this entry with a back story that provided the inspiration...
My nephew is three years old. One day he decided he needed a haircut...Not just any haircut...He wanted his hair to look like the big boys(my brother and his friends ages 11-13). My brother and his friends has recently all gotten faux-hawks. We decided hey, hair is hair and it grows back so we took Ryan to the hair cutter and told them to give him a faux-hawk.
Before

After

This project was inspired by my nephews "big boy haircut" and by an old picture of his mother from when she was little(I don't have a scanner or I would add it also). A babysitter dressed her up to look like a punk rocker and took her picture. Here is what I came up with...
Supplies:

I didn't end up using the tights, I returned them and got a second black and white scarf.

The large black this is a place mat.

I also did not end up using the black table cloth(I took these pictures before I started lol). In total I used 9 things so my total including tax was $9.36.
And now for the final result!
My little nugget, Ryan...Well his top half anyway...

I kept asking him to make a mean face...But this is the best I got...

The pants were made from a table cloth and a dog collar, the hat and arm warmers from a scarf, the wrist cuff from a bracelet and the pink beads(painted gray with the paint set), and the messenger bag from the place mat and another scarf.
Individual pics...

Alright well thats my entry! Needless to say there were bribes of candy to get him to pose at all so sorry the pics aren't better. Thanks for looking!!!
