Lifes a Beach...doll house! (picture heavy)

Its been far from springlike here.  So, I was inspired to build a beach house.



Materials:
Shells $1
Large Popsicle Sticks $1
Small Popsicle Sticks $1
Paper Rafia $1
Fake Flower Petals $1
Green Beads $1
Red Chair $1
Foil Umbrella $1
Yarn $2
Total:  $10

The sand is soft and luxurious!  (knit out of beige novelty yarn that remind me of sand when knit up).



The ocean is calm and warm! (knit out of blue yarn in a ripple pattern).



The structure is sturdy and painted in calm colors (popsicle sticks and lots of hot glue).



And the wind is kept out by handwoven walls (paper rafia that I woven to make a fabric of sorts.)



Even shingles for further studiness! (fake flower petals)



A ramp to enter with pretty little sea shells.



Shaded benches to rest and relax.  Even a bench made out of gold! (small popsicle sticks and foil umbrellas)





And last but not least lovely rooms.  Including a telephone, decorative lamps in each corner, a nightstand, a soft cushy bed, a mat, and big red chair (Bed made out of popsicle sticks and the same yarn used the sand.  The lamps are beads and shells.  The mat is rafia.  Night stand and bed post from green beads.  The "phone" is a shell).
