My Hubby made these for me.  Cheesy   The headboard is made of fence slats that have been poly-ed at least 10 times.  I love the honeyed color of it. 
I am just so happy with it that I had to share!

Great idea.  Very springlike/ seasonal. I would suggest you might add a "tasteful" (silk) flowering vine, but it might clash with the camo, LOL.

I guess I could try army mesh, but that might be overboard Wink  My hubby draws the line at sleeping under any kind of flowers or "frou frou"  but the vine would really add to the overall effect. Thanks for the suggestion!

And I thank you for respecting my allergy to "frou frou."  Grin

I put all those coats of polyurethane on it because the wood I chose was very splinter-prone, even after sanding.
