That is amazing, I never would have guessed you made it from dollar store finds or even a trash can lid if you had not posted that information.

Per request, here are some photos of the underside, which isn't as pretty as the top.  This is what makes it worthy of the name Frankenhat.



Here's the cut end



Bobby pins go through the little green rings (which were the store hangers for the garlands).  It's tricky to pin on, so I've added a comb that you can see in the picture, but isn't part of the actual submission.
