what a great fascinator/hat thingy!  I like the (fake) flowers you chose, they look to me like hydrangeas, which I love.
Sorry to hear they are shedding on you ? I wonder if there's a way to stop the shedding, like the way clear nail polish stops nylon runs from spredding (that would be a lot of extra work I suppose).
